The annual exhibition ‘Einblick Ausblick’ was a great success

What a weekend: thousands of visitors attended the annual exhibition ‘Einblick/Ausblick’ at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts in Kiel. They were able to gain unique insights in studios and workshops: in the old building on Legienstraße, in the rooms at Knooper Weg 75, in the workshop tower, in the spce | Muthesius and in the Gallery Cubeplus, more than 600 students showed the art and design they had created during the academic year.

Students design the annual exhibition ‘Einblick/Ausblick’

Reseach and Projects

The projects presented here expand the field of action of the Muthesius University. Apart from PhD studies, offered since 2008, these research projects are not a part of normal teaching, are however integrated into the courses of study as open courses. They enable students to train their creativity in dealing with the real conditions of our society.

Cooperation

It is our philosophy to provide all research projects as interdisciplinary offers. Cooperation between the social, cultural and academic institutes of the Schleswig-Holstein is thus self-evident. Excellent academics of our University have been brought together in excellence clusters with top researchers of other education partners from the region. Our EU projects allows us to work internationally. Additionally, we have also entered into transnational cooperation with partners from economics, culutre and educaton – lately e.g. experts from Denmark, the Lebanon and Turkey.

Public relations

With Kunst hoch Schule and the projects under the heading Artistic Research we make contact with the public domain. Our target group is e.g. pupils in general education in schools in Schleswig-Holsteins and their art teachers as well as the visitors of publically supported cultural institutions. Only available in German.
