
The most northerly art academy in Germany invites you to its Study Information Days on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 February 2025.
On Wednesday, 12 February, from 2 p.m., all those interested can get to know the courses of study online in direct exchange with students and professors, while on Thursday, 13 February, the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design will open its doors to high school students and all those interested. The varied programme allows visitors to get to know the courses in Fine Art, Art Education at Grammar Schools, Spatial Strategies, Industrial Design and Communication Design on this day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Questions about the application and admission process as well as everyday life at the art academy will be answered, portfolios will be shown, guided tours for classes and individuals will be offered, workshops, studios and ateliers will be opened, and roundtable discussions will be held. In addition, exhibitions and presentations of artistic works can be seen throughout the building.
Participation in the ‘alles offen’ study information days is free of charge. Those who would like to take part in a guided tour of the art academy on Thursday, 13 February, are requested to register online here. Founded in 2005 as the first and only art academy in Schleswig-Holstein, the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design is not only a place that enables biographies that are becoming culturally relevant. With its project-based studies, the state art academy also offers space for special experiments and a wide range of artistic, creative and scientific work.
At Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design, students can study fine art, art education at grammar schools, spatial strategies, industrial design and communication design. Today, around 650 students are enrolled in the fields of art and design; they come from more than 30 countries.
